Gary Owen was born in western PA and moved to Florida in 1986. He entered the insurance industry in 2008. He joined the US Air Force Auxiliary-Civil Air Patrol in 1998 and became a Search & Rescue Mission Pilot, Squadron & Group Commander and then appointed as the Wing Inspector General. He received numerous ‘Commander Commendation’, ‘Achievement’, and ‘Life Saving’ Awards during his tenure. He is a graduate of the US Air Force Air University’s, “Senior Officer School” and “Air Command Staff College”.
Gary also attained the Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation with the American College. He served 7 years with a national Medicare carrier and currently is the President & CEO of Owen Insurance Group, a national independent brokerage agency located in Stuart, FL. Gary and his team works with over 350 agents throughout Florida in his General Agency. Owen Insurance Group specializes in Health Insurance, Medicare, Disability, Annuities, Long-Term Care and Life Insurance Planning.
