Owner of Transitions Liquidation Services, Marie LeBlanc earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the General Motors Institute in Flint MI; an MBA from Nichols College in Dudley MA; and worked in various management positions for many high-tech manufacturers.
But when she experienced the stress of spending nights and weekends sorting, packing, selling, and disposing of personal property following the death of a loved one, Marie knew her mission was to lift the same burden from others facing this difficult task. In fact, that’s the reason she started Transitions Liquidation Services in 2002.
Marie’s expertise in project and program management, coupled with her extensive experience helping those going through a transition, is the perfect combination of skills to efficiently plan and coordinate a transition of any size and scope with care and support. Her unique approach begins with getting to know her clients and the challenges they face. Sometimes family members live in distant cities and cannot be there to assist in the transition. Marie becomes like “one of the family” and identifies the significant ways in which she and her trusted partners can help.
For more than ten years Marie LeBlanc served as a member of the Board of the Women’s Council of Realtors and the New England Chapter of the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA). Transitions Liquidation was named to the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) Circle of Service and is a Corporate Partner of the Aging Life Care Association. In addition, Marie is a past President of the Board of Directors of Fruitlands Museum in Harvard MA. She now serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the Massachusetts Trustees of Reservations.
